Our baby is turning 8!

It's crazy to think how fast time flies , Yep that is right our baby will be 8 in just a few days . So this past weekend I took her out to shoot her birthday pictures I have been doing every year. I still remember the day she was born she didnt want to come out! She is the best lil girl anyone could ask for! Happy 8th Birthday Babygirl

It’s that time of year for Senior Sessions and this year I am working hard thinking of new ideas, locations…..anything to make your Senior Session feel like you walked away having the time of your life! This is the time in your life where your growing into a “woman” or a “man” and it’s time to celebrate it! Doesn’t matter if your a tee shirt and jeans type or if you like to rock the latest trend! Each session will be customized to fit your style and bring out that inner beauty we all have It’s all about having fun and getting great images to have 20 years down the road!

SO what does this mean you may ask, Yes thats right Jackie May Photography has specials lasting threw the end of dec. Just for this special time in your life. Also all seniors sessions also get a family session to go along with it! Nope it does have to be the same day but I do ask it is before they move away and start collage!

Tulare Ca Photographer - So What Exactly Do I Do With Your Images???

Post Processing is something I dont like to talk about but what I think all my clients need to know. Everything doesnt happen over night. It takes countless hours for just one session. Here is a break down on what I do for every session. So this is from start to finsh before and after I meet with a client.

Before the Shoot
1. Client emails me for information
2. Send a Client Questionnaire, so I can get to know my clients personality and style.
3. Set up date and time. Discuss location and vision for the session…..this is where the fun starts! This is your session and I truly believe it should reflect your style mixed with my photography style.
During The Shoot
4. Travel up to 30 minutes (sometimes more, but for an extra fee)
5. Get props ready, loaded in the car
6. Meet with family and take a few minutes to get to know everyone. I usually spend an 1-2 hours with children, Seniors, Couples, families, etc and up to 3 hours (sometimes more) for newborn sessions.
7. Load props back in the car
After The Shoot
8. Download images from camera to my computer
9.Back up images on a hard drive
10. Select around 30-50 of my favorite images from about 150-300 images (depending on session)
11. Begin the post processing. I narrow down between 20-30 images of my favorite and begin the custom post processing. Sometimes an image can take 3-10 min .Just depends on what I want done to the image and how creative I want to get with that image
12. Help clients with any ordering questions they may have
13. Send invoice for clients order to make payment
14. Place order for prints or any other specialty products (frames, albums, etc)
15. Receive orders in the mail, packaging and meet up with clients for them to recieve there images.
